Sahitya Academi Award (साहित्य अकादेमी सम्मान ) – Sindhu- Kanya was adjudged the best in Sanskrit language for Yr 1984 and prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award bestowed upon Dr Shrinath S Hasurkar on 25th Feb 1985 in a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi by the hands of Prof V K Gokak.
Banbhatta Puraskar– Pratignapurtih was honored by UP Sanskrit Akademi on 8th May 1985 and a Citation presented to author by P M Rajiv Gandhi in a function held in New Delhi.
Saraswat Samman ( सारस्वत सम्मान ) – The M P Sanskrit Akademi honored Dr Shrinath S Hasurkar with Saraswat Sanman for life time service to Dev-basha Sanskrit. He was presented with a Plaque and citation in a function held in Ujjaini on 22nd Mar 1986, presided over by Dr Shivmangal Singh Suman.
